I didn’t plan
to become
The Glo Mentor.

I just became the woman I needed
when I hit physical rock bottom.

Before launching Lumi Glo, I spent 14 years as a makeup artist & worked as a beauty blogger. I loved empowering women to feel confident in their own skin.

I poured that same energy into being a present mum, a loving wife to my husband Rob, and a loyal friend. My work in beauty was never just about products. It was about the spark in someone’s eyes when they felt seen and valued.

But then the world changed. In 2020, when COVID brought the makeup industry to a standstill, I hit a wall. Burnout crept in quietly. At first, that season of stillness forced me to confront what I really wanted my life and career to stand for. It was at that low point that the seed for Lumi Glo was planted.

The journey wasn’t smooth. I faced the difficulty of scaling a business from scratch. I wrestled with imposter syndrome and pushed through the fear that it might not work.

There were seasons of doubt, moments of exhaustion, and times where I wondered if I was enough. But with each setback, I learned something new. I became more resilient and more determined  Today, I run a brand I love while staying fully present for my family. For me, success is about more than business growth. It’s about being a good mum, wife, and friend, while helping other women believe they can achieve that balance too. My story is one of perseverance, faith in myself, and a belief that empowerment begins when we stop performing and start being real.

Let’s pause, reset, and return, not with pressure or perfection, but with presence.

You don’t need another system to follow. You need space to listen inward, clear the noise, and reconnect with what’s been buried under the performance. This work doesn’t pile on more pressure , it creates room to breathe, rebuild, and move at your own pace.

My philosophy is simple:

Ritual Over Routine

Treat yourself with kindness even when you make mistakes

Self-Leadership Over Self-Abandonment

Move in a way that respects you when when its uncomfortable

Presence Over Performance

Because being calm isn’t the same as being okay

Rest as a Strategy

You can’t build from rock bottom if you don’t stop to breathe

Truth as your Guidance

When you say it out loud, you start to shift. Even if you don’t quite believe it yet
